Moots Womble Frameset

Ditch the fatigue inducing properties of carbon fiber and aluminum for a titanium frame that doesn’t hold back. Moots has been creating titanium masterpieces for the past 40 years, and with the Moots Womble they tweaked their formula to offer a refreshing take on a cross country mountain bike. 

The Moots Womble is a hardtail 29er that features Moots’ in-house double butted top and down tubes in the largest diameter they’ve ever built. This means that you get the stiffest and strongest front end possible. Large tubes give the strength for a stretched front triangle - thus, you’re able to add a 140mm fork for a smooth and confident ride up and down the mountain. 

When you point yourself down mountain and begin to descend, you’ll be surprised by how quickly you can cruise while still feeling comfortable. This is due to the slack, “modern”, mountain bike geometry, the vibration dampening qualities of titanium, and your generous 140mm of suspension. Dropper compatible, you can flick a switch and get your seat out of the way as the trail dictates so you’re able to increase focus on terrain.

On the flip side, the Womble whips up ascents thanks to its hardtail, seat tube position, and shortened chainstays. This is a bike that effectively utilizes rider energy to initiate speed. You input pedal strokes and the Moots Womble pays you back in miles per hour.  

With clearance for 2.6” tires, you can add additional suspension in the form of a slightly lower tire pressure than standard cross country mountain bikes.
